I think Boardmasters refunded last year.

The only reason we think G shouldn’t is because tickets are so hard to get

Boardmasters refunded tickets, and then had a week long "exclusive presale" for everyone who had a ticket.

Nobody sane thinks Glastonbury won't refund the tickets, the tax implications alone make that impossible. But it's very realistic that they'd choose to either have a similar presale with a ticket guaranteed for everyone who wants it, or set aside a percentage of tickets in a first round sale.

Yes. Sorry, I meant refund and offer first dibs. I didn’t know that’s what Boardies did, cheers 👍

Boardmasters and Houghton were cancelled by the organisers , where if and It's a big if , glastonbury gets cancelled it will be done by the DoH/government, I think this will negate any calls for a pre sale for this years ticket holders

But it was measures that were out of their control, just like this virus is out of anybody’s control, whether or not they’re legally obliged to cancel shouldn’t really make any difference

Can't see how that makes any difference whatsoever tbh.

In all cases, it'd be down to a situation beyond the festivals control. Whether the decision comes because the Government mandates it, or because the Safety Office recommends it is largely academic.

I think we are going to have to agree to disagree on this , but as of now this is totally academic and the festival will take place 😀

I was in a little pharmacy yesterday. I'm afraid I didn't check the hand gel stocks. I'm sorry, I'll do better next time. Anyway, the only other customer was getting right shirty that not only did the pharmacy have no face masks cos they're not usual stock but they weren't planning to order any.

Oh well, I may have the dubious honour of being the closest to the coronavirus as my hometown of Bury has a case, so can’t be any further away than 2 miles or so.....

Gulp!

I go to college in Bury.
