That was spot on because I was doubtful and went back to check.
The guy is now in his 50s so I think he knows and comes back for the nostalgia but doesn't really care anymore
When booking acts for festivals there are a lot of things to consider such as cost, availability or a myriad of factors which increases or decreases likelihood. I think it’s safe to consider AC/DC, Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Lady Gaga as less likely than some other names, such as even Muse. Happy to be wrong though! I just don’t think the every single musical artist in the world is as likely as each other to perform next year is a great outlook on things. It’s just reiterating pages of arguments, if people can’t discuss why they think anyone is likely or unlikely because “everyone has equal chance of headlining” what even is the point of this thread.
Likewise with Muse, just a gut feeling, even as a Muse fan. They haven’t really done anything of note since the last appearance and even then there was a load of murmurs about it being a boring booking. Can see them returning if they don’t fall off as they’re still Stadium/Arena sized (within reason) but don’t see it next year, maybe they do R&L or maybe they just have a quiet one. But as @charlierc said that last headline was 2016, doesn’t feel that long ago at all!
