This little one went missing for a total of 12 hours. He's only 5 months old and darted out the back door at 6am. A neighbour has brought him back from 20 doors or so down the road, he's very wet, very hungry.

What a nightmare 12 hours that was. He is now sporting an Airtag collar.

I'll stick to my labrador thanks

Lovely. Maine Coon? Mine is an indoor cat and I had about 10 minutes today when I left a door open and thought she might have gotten out. I can't imagine 12 hours.

Mines a converted Transit Luton.

It’s such a relief. What a year! Clutch went in February and then the turbo on the way back from Glastonbury. It seems that new turbos for this model no longer exist. Eventually a friend took it out, had it rebuilt and put it back in.

The van has effectively been laid up for nearly six months.

Congratulations to your mate for sorting that out. I had to get the clutch on my car renewed a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't so much the cost of the renewal (although that did smart) but the whole day around getting it to a particular garage (miles away) and back. It was very close to the film falling down - except I was more and more bemused as time went on as opposed to getting angrier and angrier.

PS - I have a campervan that last operated just before the covid outbreak. Then it sat for a few years on a SORN. I am (slowly) trying to get it back on the road. It is very much an uphill struggle.

I'm an insomniac.

Pretty much all the time.

Then every now and then I go through a REALLY bad patch where even for me it's bad. The upside is after one of these spells I'm usually so exhausted my insomnia just goes f**k it and gives me a night off and I have something approaching a normal night's sleep.

Last night was one of those nights. I realise that this is just how non insomniacs feel normally but i feel like I've got a f**king superpower today.

i know exactly how you feel. Not because I suffer from it, but because I used to suffer from it. I'd get to Tuesday at work and think to myself 'I've already kind of done 4 shifts, because I've had two shifts of no sleeping.

With me it was that my mind would just not stop 'thinking'. There was no respite for many a year. I wish I could tell you what I did to stop it from happening, but the truth of the matter is that I made no conscious decision to try to stop it. I mean, I did get a load of over the counter remedies, and even had an infused with lilac pillow, at one Point. They worked to some degree, and a surprising degree at that, but it wasn't the end solution. I have no, current, idea what that solution was. I only know that it came along. Hope it does for you too.
