Treated myself to a day off work t'other week when the weather was good and took myself off walking for a day. Proper all day job, left about 8ish and home about 7. Feet were broken by the end, but amazing day's wandering.

Lovely pics.  Out for a walk myself today as usual, pissed down, almost zero visibility and turned my ankle on the beach!  So no pics from me!

Aye I'm good. Wee bit overloaded so stepped back from things for a bit just to let things settle; a day off with no one else around and (apart from photos and map) no phone was amazing. Lovely head clearer. And figured you'd like the cow pic

No it Was ok after some ice treatment .   was on a stony beach and attempted to jump over a wee stream, thankfully had decent walking shoes on.  Limped home and was greeted with ‘what have you done you daft old bugger?’  So much for sympathy.

Gorgeous pictures! Didn't realise you were from that area, I love it there. I remember having the most amazing roast at a gorgeous pub call the The Devils Dyke, is that right?

Yeah, the Dyke is the pub right at the top of the hill. Walked past it. Haven't eaten in there for years, but it's always good for a pint after walking.
