Is that you yog ? :)

Hello crazyfool1 & others,

Unfortunately not.

If you ever see any footage of me, they'll always be a little curtsy at the end. I don't want to put visions in to your minds, but can't help but guide you a little bit. In my minds eye, this is me;

Although to others, I may look like............................................

My best friend has a birthday tomorrow. She has also had severe stomach issues in the past year and is now gluten and dairy free.

Cue me making gluten free dairy free cupcakes... I was very worries as I have never made them and usually find gluten free items disgusting.

Good news... they're delicious!!

I wont add a photo as they are not beautiful.

My wife is G&DF and has a banging recipe for a chocolate orange cake somewhere.  I'll see if I can find it and sling it over

this early mornings view from the hill top across the Clyde to the mountains of Arran. The sea is shrouded in mist with the hill tops rising out of it.  Not a breath of wind, unusual for this location.

I felt bloody tremendous sitting up there

cheers!  If it makes you feel any better I slipped on sheep shit on the way down😁

As soon as it's allowed, and I can sort it, I'm / we are soooo coming to your manor. Believe me, you'll not feel a thing. I'm now myself in the country. However, I had 50 years of looking at concrete and also wide ranging stupidity and vulgarity (and that was just mt family!) in connection with that. You don't mind do you? I'll / we'll be in and out like a flash. I promise right now that we will in the process, drop a shed load of cash in to the local economy. As well as a few brain cells!

Rather than bore you all with more vistas across the Clyde noticed this morning that this lovely lass has decided to nest on the beach above the tide line. Obviously with the lack of visitors and people avoiding the area it’s quiet enough. Hopefully the nest won’t be disturbed.

:) i remember the days when as a child we had to try and squeeze past them nesting on the canal towpath where we took the dog for a walk ... used to scare me as I remember stories of them being able to break arms ... not sure the validity of it .... Anyway nice photo again AC

Cheers, our worry is dogs off the lead worrying the nest. Just shows how nature takes over when people move out. Think the broken arm thing is an urban myth but I won’t test the theory!

Beauty in the foreground and background.

Guess what? About my future proposed trip to your neck of the woods - I've just (in the last few days) discovered the existence of the NC500. Only it doesn't formally exist, as such. I've already started a folder off on it, and am gathering information as I go along. I got quite a bit of info off Trip Advisor, which is my go to site more often than not when visiting a new place. I've heard that some of the roads can be difficult (to say the least) to drive along if in a camper van. However, the whole point is that I want my next trip to Scotland to be a road trip. I'd probably go out of season, so that it's quieter on the roads. Have you any idea of when the 'midge season' starts and ends? Or is that like asking how long is a piece of string?

How lovely! This really made me smile! Aw hope her and her babies (well, eggs atm) are safe. Very neat nest! The swans on the canal by me don't seem to make as much effort! Might have to have a word

One of the views on one of my regular walks. Tend to wake up really early at the moment so head out then while it's still quiet
