Fair play that is some dedication, 4 or 5 hours of queuing and basically just waiting till 8am Expand Yeh I'm hoping I get a spot with some good atmosphere. I'll have slept so I'll be ready to go! 😉 I did Love Fields in a campervan last couple of years, on opening morning they 'force' you around the massive main gate C queue, basically queue jumping. As a theme park enthusiast, I definitely wasn't comfortable with that. So last year we stayed back at camp and had breakfast and a few tinnies before heading down to the gate at around 11 / 12. Didn't work, queue was still massive, and we were still ushered around the right hand side of it, straight to the gate. But yes, the atmosphere near the gates on Wednesday is electric. The thing I like about the campervan fields and arriving early is the Tuesday night on the hill, great atmosphere full of hope and excitement. Watching people's faces for any first timers getting their first glance of the festival site at night. Man, I can't wait now!!!! 141 days!
