That's great to hear Wellyboot, thank you.

Now, you do know that that can be read two ways, don't you?

The first is that you recognise that there might be some pigeon shit to clear up in the morning.

The second is that your desire for this pigeon to survive the night is so great that you would consider it a win if it did. Not only that, but that you yourself would actually have a poo as some sort of clean up / celebration of the win campaign.

Or, is the above only in my head?

😂😂😂 I think if it meant that the pigeon lives I'd go with either! I don't want to have to deal with a dead body as well as a load of shit!

If you don't want to deal with dead bodies then perhaps don't keep a vicious killing machine as a "pet". Pet cats spend their whole lives figuring out how to kill their "owners" (apart from when they're shitting in my garden).

That's my baby you're talking about!! Dennis is a prince!!

final update for tonight.. there is one poo  (that I can see) and he's moved to other side of shed. Good news i think.

Now all I have to do is hope he makes it thru the night and can fly in the morning.. if not then erm.... suppose I'll Google how to care for/adopt pigeons??😟

@Wellyboot How’s the pie filling doing?

In other good news I’ve won a pair of trainers in an online competition. They are currently being listed on ebay for well in excess of £1000. Don’t know whether to sell mine or keep them. I know I’ll never be able to wear them though 😕

Sell and spend the money on a holiday as a treat once it’s safe to do so.

So BLH update..

@Yoghurt on a Stick was right! (Not that i ever doubted you of course!) There's some poos. But not loads so quite a polite guest which is nice.

Hes wandering around, I had the shed door open but he didn't leave and isn't looking like he's ready to fly. He hasn't eaten anything not sure if he's had a drink or not cos I was snoozing (tho I did keep waking up thinking shall I go and see, so you weren't on your own @crazyfool1)

So I've shut the door again for now and let Dennis play out. When he comes home for some grub I'll try pigey again.

I'm just really, REALLY glad he's alive!!

I'll go get some mealworms.. luckily am off work today so can spend it trying to sort him out!

He's wandering around but no sign of trying to fly or leave.

And by 'murderous cat' I think you mean little angel who made one mistake 😝

you are my favourite person

Haha thanks, I try 🙂

I went back to my parents' house over lockdown and probably the best bit about it was being able to see their cats - a brother & sister combo called Bruce and Roxy. My Mum's more than aware me and my brothers always look forward to seeing them when we do visit.

Bruce and Roxy! Cute names!! Hahaha "hiya mum...you ok yeah?...where are the cats" 😄

Thats lovely they're brother and sister. Dennis was the only one in his litter to survive, and they wanted rid of him far too young so had to feed him for a bit at first, so he really thinks I'm his real mum.

Good news for many receiving GCSE results today ... well done to the kids , parents and teachers involved ... so much shit for them to go through and so bloody what if the exam passes have gone up ... they all bloody deserve it for the stresses they’ve had to cope with over the last months

Just found this ... now if any clever person on here has some words that can tie a pyramid stage hat to beautiful days somehow ?! The obvious link is the levellers and new album peace so maybe that could be tied in somehow ... would be a decent backup plan on my best friends bday

You joke, but we kinda do that. Although in part just to wind Mum up 🙂. And we haven't had it confirmed but we're 99% the names come from Bruce (Springsteen) and Roxy (Music).

I think I've always grown up with cats that were siblings. Other than when my Dad brought a kitten back from work that needed a home. He ended up growing up alongside a puppy and in some ways acted like one 😂

Aww that's adorable! Well thank you for saving him, you're a good person.
