lego pyramid stage hat anyone ?

You youngsters are your plastic bricks. Us 70s lads got out the spanners and screwdrivers and the meccano set creating a generation of engineers and technicians.😉 ,ah nostalgia, Jumpers for goalposts, scrumping apples, soft porn mags in hedges

I had mechano too ... but I didn’t have things like my dad who seemed to make crossbows and create explosions as a child !!

If you send me your email I will try and find all the PowerPoints etc. for the training but it will be next week when I'm back in to access the server.

Was mechano made in plastic too ? Or was that called something else ?

The original meccano was all metal, nuts bolts and washers. No motors but lots of pulleys and gear wheels. Maybe they went soft in later years and made it in plastic, don’t know. TBH it was a bit boring and I was glad when Subbuteo came on the market!

I'm a 3rd timer too.

First was an unmitigated disaster. Second I was weirdly calm because I knew it could never be so bad again, but was caught out by a temporary speed limit. Third time was indeed a charm 🙂 (also a very nice examiner who acknowledged my nerves and gave me three chances to achieve a hill start as I'd done everything else perfectly 😂)

@Wellyboot - I've spent all weekend trying to understand why I couldn't upload pictures. Rotating one seemed to work so you'll have to turn your head to see Bruce properly. I found another picture of Rox that will have to do til I can get my Mum to send me another 🙂.
