Bill Burroughs?  The second burned down in 1994 and the third was built by Bill from Pilton and it was four times the size of the original.

Got it anditmakesmesmile!  It was built by apprentices at the shipyard, now sadly closed though there was talk of it re-opening till Corona came along.  Over to you for the next brainteaser please.
