There was one particularly windy day, with bright sunshine and 2l bottles of Brothers on sale.  I refused to either wear a hat, or apply suncream.  I ended up in the medical tent on Friday afternoon with weeping sores all over my head and was prescribed a sombrero. Turned out my head was far too burnt to wear such a scratchy hat directly, so I also purchased a bucket hat to go underneath.  Two hats.

What year was it?

Actually, come to think of it.  The Friday might have been my second trip to the medical tent.  I also ended up in there with a bad ankle after some gaiters being badly fitted to my boots (and I was too fucked to notice for several hours) when there was some unexpected rain (but it's not the year that suggests  )
