I think the story here is as much about a promoter now being confident enough to spend the money setting up and publicising large outdoor shows in the summer, one of them 3 weeks before Glastonbury.

Yep very promising signs. Reckon we could start to see a bit of a flurry of these announcements over the next few weeks in the build up to Christmas.
