They've confirmed that it will only be two 12 hour seasons.

Apparently the original pitch was for 5 seasons and at this point I wish that was still the plan.

I started the Lizzo documentary on HBO yesterday. Just the first half hour but so far quite interesting. I never read/watched one of her interviews, just the music and whatever click bait comment got picked up. What a woman!

Two seasons is good. Too many of these American series don't know when to finish. Quality over quantity every time. 

Then they can focus on the Sy Snootles & the Max Rebo Band biopic.

I watched the Amazon Prime series. Will have to keep an eye out for the doc. Got a lot of time for Lizzo. She's a force for good.

Maybe the HBO one is more recent than Amazon's ? It deals with pandemic time, so shows her working on demos for example.

Yep the Amazon one was basically auditions for her big girls dancers so just as the world was opening up and preparing to get ready for her shows. Was focussed on the dancers themselves more than her.

I love seeing that new people have got into Ted Lasso! Such a good show. Much smarter show than it first seems. 

I nagged a mate to watch it for so long. She recently got round to it and blasted through it in about a week. The Whatsapp updates were great.

There's a scene at the end of episode 9 of season 2 that I watch every now and then when I need a little boost.
