I wouldn't say that, JK Simmons popping up in the new Spider-Man was great.

Just on that topic the pre-Disney and now scrapped plans for Deadpool 3 was for a Hugh Jackman Wolverine and Deapool buddie road trip movie. I fucking want that more than a properly done Marvel X-Men film.

there's a fair amount of context that separates the 2 cases.

Or maybe the JK Simmons one is one of Marvel's clever easter eggs to close out phase 3 and after this, Dr Strange Multiverse of Magic and the potential Spiderman film they're talking about it'll look really clever.

I wouldn't really be pushing this as hard if they hadn't laid all the breadcrumbs for it.

The weirder and more cosmic they can go with multi-verse and dimensions and space stuff the better as far as I'm concerned, mop it up with a secret wars film and we're laughin.

Is Secret Wars the comic that has inspired the Nick Fury show coming up on Disney Plus?

In fairness though they haven't released the breadcrumbs yet, these are all movies that are years out but people are getting a head of things based on the rumours for it.

They are trying to keep things tight lipped but those pesky fans ruin it. My missus is actually working on the new Ant-Man movie and says they have fake scripts and other measures in place to prevent leaks happening.

Yeah I took it as a bit of a meta joke.

Binged the first 5 episodes of WandaVision last night. Mind completely blown at that EP5 reveal. Pretty shocked that this seems to be the prevailing view of it on here. I'm firmly on the other side of the coin. I think it's a clear nod to the two universes being able to now exist within the MCU.

Yeah, I agree with your interpretation of it. Everything is so deliberate in this show

I’m certainly open to this idea, but also think it could be a meta “recasting” joke.

I suppose we’ll see in the coming weeks.

Yeah looks good and a lot more like the Marvel we’re used to after Wandavision changed things up.

After what ended up being a nice breather from Marvel in 2020, 2021 and further seems like it’s just gonna be non-stop what with all the TV shows and films back in cinemas at some point. Disney+ about to be real competition for the rest what with all of this and all the Star Wars stuff.

Yeah looks pretty good. Think we get 1 Friday without marvel between Wanda and this, hopefully gives WV a license to go as weird as possible and get fans not into that stuff back on board straight away. Are Loki and What If? both airing this year?

Falcon & Winter Solider was meant to be out before WandaVision (action was harder to shoot than comedy during lockdown) so I'm not sure it's intentional for it be a palate cleaner for the weirdness.

Yeah plus the Ms Marvel and Hawkeye live action shows are coming out this year too.

Watched zero zero zero over weekend . Worth a watch obviously some suspension of belief with some plot holes . Story set across Italy Mexico and USA all in relevant languages.

Mexican element of story perhaps most interesting.

Lead me on to finally start watching gomorrah as same writers managed 4 episodes of 1st series so far enjoying it . Similar drug cartel elements but purely in naples this one .
