Secret Invasion is the Nick Fury centric show. Is it just me that wanted to see the original 1980s Secret Wars comic run given the MCU treatment? I think they’ll get round to it eventually. Once they have Reed Richards and the X-Men in play there are a lot more classic stories they can adapt. deebeedoobee
I’ve been watching The Bridge . Nearly at the end of season 4. Really enjoyed the series especially the lead character Såga. what I have learnt so far: 1) nobody has curtains in Sweden/ Copenhagen 2) nobody puts the big light on. Anytime. Anywhere. We worked our way through the series. Superb, though I don't think it can do much for the Scandinavian tourist trade.

I was travelling across the bridge as it was easiest to fly into Copenhagen and go across the bridge to Malmo. I was told not to watch the programme before i went 😁. vintagelaureate
Watched 'Upload' on Amazon Prime. Whizzed through it as the episodes are short. Similar to the Good Place - an enjoyable watch.

I have to say I have wanted to visit Scandinavia even more since I have watched some Scandi dramas even though they are all decidedly unglamorous. Yes my husband's uncle lived there for a year and we were really hoping he'd stay longer as we wanted to visit. He always has nice things to say about it. When we are eventually allowed to travel again I fancy a few alternative City breaks and Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Finland are high up on my list. We were going to visit the last town in northern Sweden, to go Dog sledging ( there was a music festival on at the same time), in January 2020....yep that was the plan. Hoping to do this one day. Was it really less than a year ago when you could go out for dinner with whomever you wanted! We'll get back to it one day and we'll enjoy it all the more hopefully 😄

Our last holiday before Lockdown Number 1 was a Hurtigruten cruise up the fjords. The stops were fascinating but too short. A couple of interesting visits and excellent on-board lectures. Sort of saw the Northern Lights but very pale. I'm not into cruises of any sort and I wouldn't do it again but each to their own.

Yeah I heard about this case/saw the creepy video back when it happened so this interested me. I think they’re kind of grasping in their attempt to say the hotel is cursed or whatever as it seems far more like it’s just a shithole that attracts a certain type of client, but the woman’s disappearance is very strange nonetheless. kalifire
Line Of Duty (S2) ended up getting a bit complicated and therefore quite boring. I've started Soulmates on Prime, mainly because Shiv fucking Roy is in the first one. All looks a bit Black Mirror.

Did manage to go to Iceland (yes, I know it's not strictly Scandi) when their currency crashed and it was all London prices (Copenhagen was booked for Easter too - but obvs didn't happen). Eh... in the end the whole thing is a pretty open and shut case that got way too much exposure due to the creepy CCTV recording, and the people being interviewed for this are largely nobody conspiracy nuts who wanted some internet clout. The one guy who got somebody to go visit her grave and touch it for him... what a fucking loser. A sad story, but the four episodes are padded out with a lot of bullshit about it being a spooky haunted hotel to fill the run time and the whole thing feels pretty pointless and/or exploitative come the last episode.
