The ‘Boar on the Floor’ scene in S2 E3 is one of my favourite TV scenes of all time. Brian Cox is absolutely superb.

Yes it goes without saying that Brian Cox is superb but he's a brilliant actor and his Desert Island Discs was really good as well.  The Boar on the floor It's the kind of activity you can imagine Boris Johnson etc engaging in. Horrendous stuff but compelling viewing.

BBC Iplayer - Can't get you out of my head

Love, power, money, ghosts of empire, conspiracies, artificial intelligence – and You. An emotional history of the modern world by Adam Curtis.

An odd watch but very interesting look at the world from the 1950's onwards. Very oddly patched together with some moments that relate to nothing at all. Loads of info to take in so I have watched 4 of them but re-watching with Mrs Q to try and understand bits I missed

and any episode with the title - Shooting and fucking are the same thing  - has to be watched

I haven't watched WandaVision yet so I've avoided this thread and the spoilers one.

As we were discussing "Justice League' and it's HBO Max exclusively the other day... they've just announced it will be available globally on the same day (apart from a couple of countries) but I'm guessing not will a paid on demand service.

I watched the documentary "Crash Action Park" which HBO Max produced but Sky have on.

It is about a water park that has virtually zero safety measures and people without engineering backgrounds just built rides based on ideas.

The park is still open now - under new ownership and a different name!

I saw this was on after Britney the other day but it doesn’t appear to be on Now TV? Sounds really interesting!

Watched ‘it’s a sin’ last night. Had to watch all 5 episodes before we could go to bed. It’s heart breaking, but also has a wonderful tenderness. It’s brilliant and I can’t  recommend it enough.

Oh it's just fantastic isn't it! It's so heartwarming and so heartbreaking all at the same time! I watched it a few weeks ago and I still can't stop thinking about it!

La!

It's Class Action Park, not Crash. It's a good watch. I'd read a lot of the stuff about it before but very interesting to see it all together. And the "characters" are all just larger than life. Living New Jersey stereotypes

Really wanna watch It's a Sin but am fully committed to the US Office and am still only up to season five. This is why I've never bingewatched American shows before!

We rewatched The Office in the first lockdown. Brilliant comfort viewing!

Just started Superstore with Ugly Betty in it on Netflix. Pretty fun show.

Really sad and horrible way of treating her. That photographer made me angry and despairing.

Yeah. I only ask because I literally just finished watching it. I have to admit, I was pretty ignorant about the ins and outs of the conservatorship before watching. I didn't realise she had been under it for 12 years. I'm not a doctor or lawyer and if they are privy to information that isn't public, which means it needs to continue, so be it. But it just seems shady to me that she has repeatedly requested anyone but her dad be in charge of her person and finances, and it's fallen on deaf ears. Uncomfortable viewing.

One left to go on S4 of Line of Duty. They’re know what they’re doing now. It’s really hit a stride from S3 onwards.

Also fantastic to see Jason Watkins and Thandie Newton together, albeit briefly.

I didn’t think season 5 was quite up there with the previous two series, but still very enjoyable nonetheless.

You have caught me up - I also have one left in S4 - planning to watch tonight.  Wondered how they would follow S3, but S4 has been on the same level for me.

S6 is supposed to be released next month, so we will be up to date just in time.  Can't understand how this passed me by the first time round!
