Saturday is stacked - Friday and Sunday seem a little light atm.

Not the way I see it!  Friday is the day that is stacked, and I can't see any way the set times come out without some horrendous clashes for me.  For instance, the 5 acts on the Alcove that I most want to see are all on the Friday, none on Sat or Sun.

hi all , quick one, never been to latitude before. How big is the venue compared to glasto?  Thinking of going solo (done glasto solo but dunno if ive got it in me now hah) , friendly enough place?

It's about 1/6 the size of Glastonbury, maybe even smaller. Like a lot of other festivals, it's split into two sections, the camp and the main area where all the music etc takes place. If I had to make any direct comparisons I'd say think Avalon Fields/Circus & Theatre kind of vibe but with a big outdoor stage and a lake (that you can swim in - a must). The comedy tent is a huge bonus, I'd argue even better than the likes of Glasto.

Late night activity is quite limited but there are some cool places to explore when the main stages close, predominantly around the wooded areas. They get quite creative in there with the decor and lighting, on a warm, sunny night it's a great atmosphere. You'll find various different music genres being played in and around the woods, on tiny stages made of sheds, etc. It's a lot of fun.

It's picturesque, quite chilled out and friendly and I think the latter will be the same, if not greater this year, being the largest festival to take place in this country since 2019. People are desperate to get into some fields, dance and socialise properly once more, without fear of restrictions. I think the atmosphere is going to be fantastic. I'd say it's perfect for solo trippers, you're bound to make new friends, especially this year.

Much smaller and easy to get between stages. Very friendly from what I’ve seen. Not quite as relaxed as Glastonbury from a security pov and a bit corporate, but still a fairly chilled atmosphere. Food good, alcohol choice rubbish (imo).

I’ve been hammering the music, got a playlist of 41 artists now (13 hours playtime) - I’d be happy to see any of them. I’ve used this clash finder to help us see how each day falls https://clashfinder.com/m/latitude21/?user=0tempf.cc

Friday 15 music + 1 comedy

Saturday 13 music + 1 comedy

Sunday 13 music

Not going to see anywhere near all of them mind, but absolutely loving getting stuck into them all.

Bring it on!!!!!!!

bars, co-op in campsite or drinks you brought into the campsite. generally i will try smuggle in spirits to the arena and if all else fails take a trip back to the campsite when theres nobody i want to see on and do some shots/tins for the road

Just put up the tent to test it out, really excited now.

So me and my wife are vaccinated, but the kids will need to do a lateral flow test, does anyone know the process for this? I guessing they are tested as they come in. Also will Latitude have the tests at the ready  or do we bring our own LFTs?

It’s done at home before hand and you input their result, however they do their school home tests I guess.

Woah, are these times legit?? Can't find a schedule anywhere else, but this is helpful if they are - had hoped the Chems headline set would be longer than an hour!

No sorry!! I’m just using it for the day splits at mo, times are the creators guesses!

Ah, thanks for that mate - very excited to see the real set times soon cause quite a few of my favourites are on the line-up and I'll need some time to reconcile myself to missing some of them 😄 Buzzing to get back on Clashfinders soon!!

No worries, the days and stages are spot on though. Would have loved times today but no joy.

Know what you mean, tough choices ahead but I’m just made up we’re even able to be thinking about these things again.

They will be about right unless new acts get added. Chems is definitely going to be longer, probably swap their timings with rudimental's honestly - no idea why they made rudimental so long

This is probably just using the timings from the 2019 festival where Stereophonics headlined before a ‘closing’ set from underworld.

Latitude headliners get 90 minutes, subs typically get around an hour but this is more flexible. (I don’t know what the timings will be like for the Sunday joint headliners)

Yeah thats my clashfinder, the days are right but the order is mostly guesswork and the times are mostly based on 2019 (though there seems to be more bands per day on the sunrise arena this year so I've had to shorten some of those sets to fit them all in).

Great work you've done there! It seems pretty accurate though but hopefully we'll get official confirmation through soon

Genuinely can't believe this time in 2 weeks we'll be there, can't wait!

The fact we can go to a PROPER festival is incredible, even solo you'll have a great weekend and we by God we deserve it.
