Upperground last night at Drumsheds was the fourth Friday this season where they shuffled the line up and only opened X and Z rooms. £6 tickets on Tickets for Good were available a couple of days beforehand and they've also already listed them for Hydra presents Honey Dijon's House Nation, which is still a couple of weeks away. Last weekend with Dom Dolla was a weird one as it was 'sold out' but they still shut Y and moved some of the DJ's from there to the other two rooms. Was also an announcement this week that they're planning a limited run of shows for Spring so looks as if things aren't going as well as they'd like at the moment? Not sure if the issue is too many events or the fact the venue is massive, so they probably need 10,000 or so in each night to make it viable? I'd be happy if they did some where they closed the main room and only opened Y and Z. Capacity for those two is about 6,000 so gives more options around the line up. The other way they could go is to book a few nights with the likes of Calvin Harris and Swedish House Mafia, which would sell out pretty much straight away, and offset some of the other events that don't do so well. Doubt they'd want to go down that route as it's against brand and not what they're about really. Needs must and all that though... -

Yeah might be a good shout. It's a strong year for the Tramlines audience. I'm just tagging along for another likely fantastic homecoming Pulp gig. -

From memory, I'm thinking day tickets come a bit later. So there's a jeopardy this year that they could sell out on weekend tickets alone. Would be very easy to resell though if day tickets do come in a later release.
