James' goal was astonishing. Just when the narrative of the match seemed to be Lamptey's redemption he comes out with that. Saying that though Lamptey was probably my MOTM overall. England just keep producing quality RBs

I reckon if Chelsea got a new keeper they could realistically be challenging City and Liverpool. New keeper should mean 10-15 less goals conceded and the new attackers theoretically should put up much better numbers than the others. Obviously doesn't always work out that way though.

I think that's a pretty low bar for astonishing.

In terms of right back I'm not sure I would say it's a position where England have excelled, probably why Neville played so many games. The likes of Walker and Trippier solid, but far from amazing. As for the new breed time will tell. Trent has done it in some big games, but most of the new breed have a lot to prove

What a great night for Salford, wonderful journey they are going on. I am sure @pink_trianglewill have a little moan about finances. 😃

I have never criticised Salford model an always believed the benefactor model should be allowed, despite it costing Wrexham when they broke the record points total for second place to a similar team. My main problem with Salford is the owners!!

Good to see Klopp get his pocket money back. Smaller clubs must be dumbfounded when they hear him say Liverpool can't spend money...

Only paying £4m this year. It definitely shows how limited upfront cash is right now for all teams imo.
