Thanks for that insight km9. I suspect that the ferry company pissed off a lot of islanders with that kind of price hike. That must have massacred trade for others on the island. Do you know if that price hike was just during festival(s) period? For my own part, I asked my mates about their views on when I was last there, and its demise (Bestival) and I got this (see below). It includes the original question to them; Bill / Faz / Rob - I don't suppose you know what the last year that I attended Bestival was? It was the year that you (Bill) I think drove Tom to the site, and I drove him and Rob home to Birmingham. The year that Stell and Kev started awooing. Kev? I remember little as Tom gave me some powder that made me turn Albanian - something like A2563/23A9£&### I seem to remember. X It was the year I turned bad. My comedy went first. Bill noticed but we agreed it was probably best left alone. 2011 maybe? Bestival went bad after. Loads of oiks started going. It goy sold and got too big x Rob da bank sold it to the Americans. Immediately, it turned into a war zone. Amazing how the, "Americans", do that! Oh and a load of racist c**ts were unearthed. Make of that what you will. -
I think she's less likely now than ever. Her stock is way up high now. Totally random hot takes I've got just by feeling: Soft Play, Dub FX, Chase and Status, Holly Humberstone, The Clockworks. And I refuse to shut up about Wet Leg! 😄 Edit: I wrote this time last year: "My early, bold prediction is that Azahriah (from Hungary) will get a subheadliner spot on the day of a big popstar." So I'm patting on my shoulder because of that. But I had a source saying Azi only comes if he's asked to come as a sub and nothing else, so that was a big hint I got and this time I've got nothing. Edit so it's not a double post: Dates Sziget announced their first names Sziget 2024: 12 Dec 2023 (first clue in late August, jumped the gun, artist didn't end up coming) Sziget 2023: 1 Dec 2022 (first clue a month prior) Sziget 2022: 22 Nov 2021 (first clue 2 months prior) Sziget 2020: 12 Feb 2020 (80 names) Sziget 2019: 27 Nov 2018 (20 Sept 2018 - Ed Sheeran) Sziget 2018: 22 Jan 2018 Sziget 2017: 15 Dec 2016

The clashfinder is taken from the programme, so would read as correct normally, but the times printed for settlement bands for Wednesday in the programme were 2 hours earlier than actual, so make of that what you will. I plan to be half an hour for Opus Kink, no way I want to miss any of their set

Hoping for an announcement with some replacements soon. Loveless appear to have been removed from FR stage on Saturday as well as Mannequin Pussy
