Just bopping about in the kitchen (doing the cleaning) to a certain band and I had a revelation. If Glastonbury want the perfect budget "legends", this band has a good 5-6 widely known hits, and a brilliant "flash dance" song. I saw them at a festival the other year and they were definitely "good enough" to pull it off, but I think Buster is in his last legs, so make it happen quickly. Bad Manners! They would make a hell of a saving compared to booking Rods and Shanias, and the audience would eat it up 😁😁😁

Yeah I'm the opposite where I wouldn't pay to see either of those separately, definitely not at f/v. I might look for a KOL ticket later cheaper but the other are just boring for me. I gave their recent set list a listen recently because I was looking at the festival but nope. 3 song band for me at a stretch.   If you add The Prodigy to those two of The Cure and Pulp you've got a massive 3. I can't see how if they tour next year The Prodigy wouldn't do Victorious as they'll have done the rest and the same kinds counts for Pulp. Even if The Prodigy played Creamfields, Victorious the same weekend wouldn't rule it out.

Came quite close to losing my leg … fortunately FMS were amazing and got me dealt with and transferred to a local hospital that happenned to be in my home town 

I lost my ID tag from one of my bags that year they asked you to put them on. Someone found it and texted me, and we became text pen-friends for a good while after 😊 

They wouldn't do it for no reason. But I still think it was damaging for the area. It definitely needs a Woodsies-style revamp.
