Fulton County votes incoming, about 8,000 (maybe 11,000, forgot what he said 😂). Nevada expected around 5pm. It’s hotting up!

I have 11,200 votes remaining in a district that is current averaging 72.5% Biden, 7,480 remaining in a district where Biden has 84%, and 4,750 in a district where he has 35%.  It's going to be incredibly close.  It depends on how much the vote is increased due to mail voting in the republican districts (e.g. how much does 35% climb to).

Wow rumours that Trump has won a legal case in Pennsylvania

Since Mini-me trump and the Ghoul arrived there has been an announcement of an 'administrative day' now, I'm wondering if this is related.

Theyll throw all they can into any lawsuit or recount request and such. The advantage Biden has is that the more states he has over the 270 then the Gop has to fight even more to swing those numbers back into their favor. That is not like in 2000 where one state was the deciding factor. You could reasonably be concerned if it was one state that decided everything currently. But if its 4 or 5 then no way. Personally I wish it was a much larger lead so they would go totally broke trying to challenge all they could. And its not as if they have money anyway. This stuff is expensive. A recount request if granted might cost a million dollars at least, and you have to pay out of pocket.

Coming into election night I'd managed to convince myself that he had some grand plan to steal the election both quietly foul and brazen. I've been surprised so far that no Machiavellian plot (beyond the usual R tactics of voter suppression) was put into action...it just looks at the moment like he really is a spoilt child with a poor temper and Biden will not only win but also get an opportunity to lead come January!

No Civil War 2 and no first US dictator. How refreshingly straightforward it's turning out.

Also 17157 in a county where Biden is currently leading 57.7% to 41% (Chatham)...nice breakdown here from fivethirtyeight...

Lunacy that in different places his supporters are gathering to protest vote counting should stop and for it to continue depending on Trump's lead. Whatever happens this has been a traumatic time for America's democracy, with a president openly challenging its foundation.

By rumor you mean their email list. So they were granted a chance to observe counting on whats left. You wanna tell me what difference it’s going to make with the current trajectory?

Jeez. That is pathetic. I remember seeing this yesterday where the poll watchers were complaining (maybe with some validity) that the election commission had restricted watchers to a distance of 25 feet due to Covid restrictions. They (probably correctly) stated that it made it impossible for them to accurately observe the count. But those rules applied to watchers of all interested parties and to claim it as a major victory defies belief.

Should be used to it by now of course though.

The thing is there was only enough damage done to make this seem closer than it was. The post office slow downs partially worked and mightve given them a couple states. But overall there have been no reports of shady ballot stuff. I think the biggest thing that should come out of this all is that every state should be able to have early counting done. As much as Florida has been a bane to our existence they have their ballot counting down to a science. The GOP thought they could win this just with in person voting and by clearly trying to sabotage mail in votes, but nope. If it was possible for everyone that voted by mail to change the postage on the envelope and to ensure it was received faster, the usps wouldve seen a surge in income. Everyone wouldve paid the $6 to send their ballot Priority Mail. Just that alone would force the hand of the post office to expedite delivery and not allow mail to sit around for days at a time.

If Biden misses Georgia by a whisker Boss Hogg's followers will go nuts claiming PA will seal it for them.....then Nevada will stroll in casually with a single 'We'll just leave that there' update.

Dems need to mobilize in Georgia fast. There is a deadline for new registered voters to participate in the runoff election. If both seats went blue its 50-50 and Kamala tie breaks.

This.

Deffo the most exciting news today, the senate's far more important at this point than increasing EV above 270 (as lovely as an impressive EV majority would be).

I liked the comment about how R's couldn't predict whether Trump could be bothered to campaign for them as there would be nothing in it for him! (sorry, can't remember where I read it).

😁

I do like the way they are touting being given a ringside seat to their defeat in PA as some sort of victory!
