Well what does give me hope is that Billie Eilish is a pretty big “step in” headliner. When was the last time someone stepped in to headline Glastonbury at their peak? You could say Florence, but Billie is way bigger than Florence.

Only if we can get this news out there as public knowledge? Weren't we partly responsible for Prince cancelling as he wanted it as a surprise?

Personally for my tastes Billie is a step down for what Kendrick could have brought to the table, but fair play to her - a huge moment for her which I'm sure she'll grasp.

I still think 2020 headliners will get first refusal, but I'd hate to make the call if McCartney says he'll do it, and Relton says 2022 is their only chance to book him. I mean, do you book both? Do you really say no to either of them?

As far as I can find, nothing booked. Tour was due to continue in September though I did find one venue claiming a rescheduled date from June 2020.

 

All in all, loads of chances for him to appear but nothing previous.

So what evidence is there?

Update to this. Glastopia on Twitter had a screen shot of the 2020 dates. He was ruled out that year with US dates announced.

Surely you don't say no to either of them.

You could book Billie/Taylor/Kendrick/Wolf Alice/Dua/most others any time for at least the next decade. We are getting to the last chance saloon with both these guys.
