2) XXXX (radio 1 audience related act) will be playing. 

3) STANDBY BY YOUR BEDS HERE'S THE FIRST POSTER

4) "Can confirm we're going full steam ahead with this year's festival and/or we're definitely going to have at least 50% women."

5) "Excited to announce we're partnering with BBC music to launch a new competition to give you the chance to play at Glastonbury." As an additional/complement to the emerging talent competition.

I reckon @Supernintendo Chalmers suggestion of news of the resale sounds like a good shout. Drop a R1 friendly name or two to get them excited, then give them a couple of months to save up.

Is it too early to announce the resale though as balances haven't yet been paid? In theory it's possible there won't be a resale, albeit unlikely.

When has Glasto ever done this though? Plus talk of a resale before the balances paid? It’s not really what they’ve done.

Also why would R1 give air time for that? R1 want scoops. R1 will want announcements.

Although if we are talking about acts who could cancel their tours (like Aerosmith) Guns and Roses would probably be a risk.

What Harry info? Don't think anyone has said he's going to be there. The only fresh news is someone saying Macca is out. People are then assuming Styles is replacing him.

They published the resale date for 2020 months in advance on the website.

In fairness Glastonbury posted that pic on Twitter of the LOVE sign. And Harry's shows are called the Love on Tour. We all just need to accept that it's happening.

If it's going out on the biggest station in the country surely it has to be something the general public, ticket holders or not, is going to be at least partially interested in.

"By the way its happening" (which isn't news), or "here's another young band who won a competition we're giving a slot to." Doesn't live up to the delivery method. It has to be an exciting new act/headliner at the very least.

If people weren't going, they could have a full refund until fairly recently rather than losing £25 by not paying the balance. I reckon that will have given them a good idea how many have been returned.
