He was never on Gov ball in 20/21 though was he? So while if he was out and about it would seem like an obvious one for him to do, its not like he's been replaced as with others in Europe.

I don't think he's playing, there's been so many "X festival is announcing, might be Kendrick" over the last few months. There's been a lot of theories that are becoming more and more farfetched and clutching at straws, with the Superbowl, Coachella and new music. If it wasn't for this "info" we'd be ruling him out. Not a fan of him anyway, so I've been hoping he's not playing for the past few months, as I'd rather roll the dice again and might get a headliner I prefer.

Can’t think of many better Park headliners than Fleet Foxes.

Wouldn’t a few others making it to worthy farm to boot - Perfume Genius, Kurt Vile, Pixies, Tinariwen, Les Filles des Illighadad

Live Nation has stake in Rolling Loud so its not like they he got totally abandoned. Wait til they start the Travis Scott rehab tour at Rolling Loud.

These guys dont care if they play 4 shows in a row. Right now theyre in Netherlands on friday and in Manchester Sat or Sun so its feasible to have them on either open day whenever Outbreak releases a day by day lineup.

Not sure if been posted before. Enjoyed her and her band at the Park in 2019 and going to see them this Monday in Leeds as part of independent venue week.

I'd love to see an hour of Bryan Adams on the Pyramid on a sunny afternoon. He could probably headline some smaller fests, hell even IOW these days, so not sure how he'd feel lower down the bill. As mentioned, Reckless is legit brilliant. He could just play that in full and I'd be happy (and certainly I could do without the Robin Hood song).

Saw him headline Cornbury ( wife is a fan so I booked day tickets as a birthday pressie) he was very good and  he is headlining again this year I think.

I feel like you could rule out Swift for the same reason that we've been discussing ruling out Kendrick...even moreso because that Open'er person openly said that Swift wasn't touring in 2022. I still think Kendrick is possible based on what all of the insiders have been saying but tbd i guess

Same tbh. His placements are a bit all over the place depending on the festival. He headlined IOW but is third down Parklife…

Tbh IOW probably isn’t a very good indicator these days considering the downturn they’ve taken. I kind of expected him to headline Parklife too, but he’s probably just happy to take any gigs he can get, especially when they’ve booked two fairly big headliners above him.

I can’t see Lewis as a headline threat for Glastonbury anymore if he’s already looking like he’s stalling at other festivals.
 

What I also don’t understand is why a lot of these breakout stars take 5 years to release a follow up from their debut. Career wise I think the smartest thing is to try and release a follow up 2 years after your debut if you hit it big, as you stand a better chance of being able to to do a larger tour with longer sets. 

I really don’t get this trend of releasing a big debut, maybe headlining a few smaller festivals, maybe sub a few big ones, and then just stall on their follow up. If your second album is a notch below your first then the only way is down and your positions look awkward.
