Starmer’s centre right positioning puts his priorities at odds with those of the SNP, greens and the socialist campaign group. Hard to see how he good govern on a minority or with confidence and supply. That is to say, the left wing parties/MPs would not have confidence in a Starmer lead govt.

If he was a sucker for leftist game play, he'd let corbyn back in.
