When tRuss became PM the heavens opened and very heavy rain fell - I think it delayed her speech.

I'm supposed to be handing out leaflets at a CND demo on the 1st. Don't know if I will as I am only in the local group so I can get a job in the lock ups at Glastonbury.

just realised that westminster has gone into recess till the middle of next month...so he can't get grilled on this stuff in parliament...shocking.

Blimey, didn't know about that/them, didn't occur to me the army would be doing that too, just thought it would be up to MI6 or whatever they're called these days.

What we do

77th Brigade constrains our hostile state actors and adversaries through information operations and targeting, deployed and at stand off.

Using intelligence to understand audiences and systems, analyse networks and identify intelligence opportunities, the Brigade holds a range of capabilities to deliver effect.

77th Brigade activities are best employed in concert with other military effects to achieve integrated action.

This is all written in present tense, as in what they're actively doing right now behind the scenes.

I find this stuff far scarier than climate change to be honest.
