Continuing to rely on fossil fuels keeps bills high. Sunak is lying.

Continuing to rely on fossil fuels keeps those you prop up the Tory party, and ultimately helped him into power, happy.

Ultimately that's what this is about.

Yes definitely, I suspect part of this is to keep his fossil fuel firm friends happy.

Big Brother Watch claimed that soldiers from the Army’s 77th Brigade collated tweets from British citizens about Covid-19 at the start of the pandemic and passed them to the Cabinet Office. An investigation by the civil liberties campaign group said a whistleblower had claimed that troops were used to “spy” on the British public.

Well, it's not as if we've made it difficult for them 😆

I sound like a grumpy old man now, "the youth of today have got it easy spying on everyone, in my day you had to work hard to be a spy: breaking in, planting wire taps, waiting hours in the rain on surveillance...you kids don't know how easy you've got it..." moan, grumble.

So he says we must have debate, we must be democratic and then without debate or vote changes things.

Does he hear himself?

and did anyone notice that the Reduce Waiting Lists pledge became 'Treat More People'?

He’s a coward and is too afraid to face the electorate.

Bloody hell could of been written by Tony Blair word for word. Even that "3rd way" stuff between climate change sceptics and ideologues who want to go further and faster regardless of the cost felt very familiar. Very interested to see how Starmer reacts.

A great myth that has been deliberately been put out there.

In the long term the cost of implementing green policies and mitigating against climate change will cost a lot less than business as usual.
