i don't get the point of

Quote

a new UK-wide aggravated offence of assaulting or abusing a retail worker

if there's no prosecution with current laws why would things be different with a specific law????

he's right though, there were people from all sorts of different groups...unions, socialist worker, various communist/marxist groups, stop the war, cnd, a bit of rejoin, trans rights, eco groups, student groups and a few awkward centrists like me. There were a hec of a lot of police, but I guess mostly to protect conference. It was good, went with kid, we were near front walking just behind Laura Pidcock. There were this lot from young communist league or something who looked intimidating and cool and I asked if I could join up but apparently being a capitalist 53 year old excludes me.

Resist Tory by voting Labour or whoever tactically can unseat them in your constituency.

No

I will vote for who I want, not tactically.

I have done the later before, what a waste of time. Achieved nothing.

So I shall vote Green regardless.

As I have said before, if small parties get a good percentage then those in power sit up and take note - UKIP 2013 onwards and the promise for  a referendum as a result. If the small party percentage falls, the big boys can ignore them - UKIP 2016 onwards.

Then you will enable the Tories.

Bless you - and also.......................... be serious............... my one vote enable nobody and I honestly hate it when this is used t#o try and 'blackmail' people

I want:
PR
Net zero by 2035
Roads building scrapped and all that  investment in public transport
No nuclear
To rejoin the EU

Just 5 things I want.................. so I vote Labour who offer none of them? That would be stupid.
I vote Lib Dem who offer just one pf them - that would be stupid.

If you lived in a constituancy where in 2019 Labour came third to the Lib Dems and Tories would you vote Lib Dem? Of course you wouldn't.

I vote for what I want - not something else in so blind hope they decide to change their policies.......................

and anyway, my constituancy is now new due to boundary changes so there is no way of knowing who won, came second etc.......

The only person I enable is myself with my right to a democratic vote

oh yeah.

But it could keep them in power.

I can see the headlines now - weird cucumber in Wales's single vote changes the entire outcome of the election.........

I have morals, ethics and principals - that is what I vote for............... not some alternative in some dream land that they will change to give me what I hope for.

I’d vote tactically to get the Tories out because I want the Tories. If people like you vote as you will then we will get a Tory government. You can’t criticise others anymore for how they vote, you went on a bout people not voting Green, yet here you are.

First time GMP and intelligence have been in the same sentence.

I absolutely guarantee that you would vote Labour as on here before you have said just that - you would vote Labour regardless.

Anyway, I can vote for who I want and if I do I have not elected a Tory government. It is impossible for one person in one constituancy to do that..................

and like always, when I ask difficulty questions of you, you ignore those parts.......................... why would I ever vote for parties whose policies are the opposite of my desires?

and as for saying because I choose to vote Green I am not allowed to say anything about how others vote - get real, grow up and please stop being pathetic. You actually do more harm to undecided voters with that sort of language.

I really cannot be bothered when people try and blackmail and blame 'you' for an election result just because you do not vote they way they want you to - how is that democracy?

Goodnight

and there is little worse than blackmail to try and get someone to change their vote which is where this conversation started.

blackmail?

Nothing worse than some condescending patronising bless you bollocks.

Anyway, vote Green, then you can feel good about yourself...and if tories win then f**k'em at least you can sleep at night, as long as you have AC of course

The other poster used blackmail - if I do not vote tactically then the Tories winning is my fault.

I will vote green and I will be happy.

and if you want to know what really is patronising - it is the pretence on the internet that you are more than you are - and f**k me there is lots of that on here.

Nobody bothered to respond to the why would I vote for parties whose policies are the opposite of what I want - likely because that is far to hard when insults and accusations are far easier - if all of this is the version of a democratic system you lot want then have fun lives where nothing will ever change.
