and I watched that Owen Jones Margaret Hodge sky thing and he is right in what he says...but at same time so is Hodge from an Israeli point of view. Some times he flies off the handle and says sh*t...calling Starmer racist is stupid (but whisper it maybe calling Corbyn an antisemite is too).

To me it’s not always what he says but the whiny way he says anything, he is just not a good debater. He just doesn’t seem a particularly deep thinker and just simplifies everything to his view of the world. Anyone who disagrees with him is a centrist, Starmer is a liar etc. As I say it’s all about clicks, likes and retweets and maybe he makes money this way. I get the impression he would be happy for labour to be pure and in opposition for ever. Probably fine for middle class socialists like himself.

maybe it depends on whether you agree with what he is saying or not? He definitely is abrasive. It is often better to see what people have said written down.

I don’t think so. As I said the likes of Bastani and Sarkar have pretty much the same perspective, but can deliver a more intellectual and articulate argument. I have always liked hearing from people I disagree with, feel it’s good to have your views challenged .

I find Bastani pretty annoying.

i had an offer for efestivals from an Israeli company would have made life interesting around now if i'd gone with it, didn't go with it cos i had a better offer and cos i didn't like the terms of that Israeli offer - they could have reversed the sale for up-to 2 years after, no good for me who wanted out.

Israeli efestivals glad we haven't got to find out how horrid that would have been.

problem with Jones is he loses his temper and that is it. I remember when he was on Dateline London once and I liked that programme and was looking forward to him being on it and he just argued and got angry with everyone and was never on it again,

I think it’s not just (admittedly he is incredibly whiny)the anger, but the fact he can’t accept the views of anyone different to him. If your not Corbyn left your a stupid, racist person who doesn’t care about Palestinian kids dieing.

Interestingly he used to do quite a few interesting interviews with people (centre left labour or torys) who disagreed with him. Now I watched his video from Tory conference and it’s pretty much just mocking Tory’s.

The only way a war can end is with a peace deal or one side winning and whilst the Palestinian position is "from the rivers to the sea" i.e Israel ceasing to exist there isn't going to be a peace deal. It is what it is.

It's not the Palestinian position, it's Hamas position.

We're all happy to state that not all Israelis agree with their government position, but are happt to tar all Palestinians with the same brush.

Donald Tusk is back.

(maybe)

Must be the Bristol vote that did it I've just read that there's at least two polling stations in the city, and with big queues.

if they want to take out Hamas they're here...

Post Munich, Mossad had no issue taking out those responsible no matter where they were. I don’t think Qatar will accept their guests receiving their deserved justice while in their country. Would certainly escalate tensions in the region.
