So, it's about the vote for this bill in parliament next week. He used that public statement to try and set up a divide with Labour who have said they won't vote for it, because he's obviously worried he won't have enough on his side.  It's all about the election, not about actually solving the issue. Usual sh*tty populist guff.

Does anyone know if this will be a free vote for the Tories or if they'll be whipped?

If there's a whip then surely we'll see a few more resignations?  They can't all be this c**ty.

So Sunak has said next weeks vote won’t be a confidence vote. So he hasn’t got the strength to even do that and it’ll lead to even more of a chance that he loses the vote. What a moron.

Yes apparently not many seem bothered about the UK PM disavowing certain human rights. If this was Starmer then would be uproar.

Rishi is laughably weak at this point.

All in the name of trying to ride the train of populism without having any earthly clue how to do it.

At least Boris knew he had to kiss goodbye to any kind of moral integrity. Rishi seems to think he can maintain that integrity alongside intellectual coherency. He's quickly being taught a lesson.

Don't forget the ones who don't think it's c**ty enough

Apparently in that bill it states that Rwanda is safe for non Rwandans, but unsafe for Rwandans...so we can send asylum seekers there and Rwandans can come and claim asylum here.

maybe we should declare Ukraine safe and send them home. 😛
