I’m not sure which imbecile at Leeds council signed off a major Palestine protest at the same time as all the Leeds fans are making their way to the match.

Complete carnage in town as 10000s of fans are trying to find new routes to the stadium as the usual routes are full of protesters.

It’s like the protesters are deliberately looking to cause problems.

I am in a student area and Last night there was a demo but I swear that the chat sounded like Free Plasticine. I was tempted to go out and get some.

I f**king hate it when a load of people protesting about thousands of people dying get in the way of football fans getting to a football match... inconsiderate c**ts.

It's going to be all about immigration if Farage gets his way.

Ha imagine with all the cost of living issues, NHS struggles and then going into a voting booth with immigration as your main priority. I would dare say those people don’t exist.

It will be important to some, and if they're more inclined to vote Reform that could be a big problem for the Tories.

Don't make the mistake of dismissing these people. It's easy to make an argument that reducing immigration will reduce pressure on public services. You have to acknowledge their problems and explain why there is a better solution.

I just don’t think people will go into a voting booth at the next GE and top of their priority list will be illegal migration. It will be cost of living. In fact all recent by-elections don’t show Reform picking many voters so it seems to not be high up on people’s agenda.

Yeah, Blackpool South might be an interesting one, have to see how well Reform do there.

YouGov tracker of voter concenrs has immigration increasing and the economy decreasing.

Reform don't expect to win they want to influence Conservative policies. Reform is up at 10% in some polls. Thats enough to lose some Tory seats so they are trying to win those voters back with an anti immigration message.

Thats what I mean, Reform is up to 10% in some polls yet all recent elections don’t show that support filtering through.  We need to see it in elections before we can say Reform are any real threat.

It depends on the polls and the parties available to the right of the Tories. One of the recent by-elections, I think it was Tamworth, it was just under 10% of the vote but split between Reform, Britain First and UKIP. They all beat the greens and lib dems
