We haven't got much choice...  You understand how important the Suez Canal is don't you ?

yep I remember the boat stuck , a trip around takes 8 days now and things have slightly eased .  I guess people said that ref Iraq , never seems to sort anything . Im more about conflict resolution than bombing the sh*t out of everything ... not every country will get involved

Haha I love this... I'm not really sure about matiloy to be honest, it usually seems like he's talking academically in his posts so I never got a real sense of where he actually falls. I reckon Stevie is more left than he comes across.

Nobody, Skip, Crazy, me, Stevie, Fray, Barry, Neil, Ozanne, Lost

I guess based on other peoples rankings matiloy falls somewhere left of Stevie

Mattiloy the capitalist banker is not of the left. As a Corbyn fan he's of the daft.

I expect better political awareness than that by the real left.

This quote about insanity being doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Like backing Corbyn.

I dont want to be 30 years from now, in my 60s, at the end of another 13 year Tory shitshow begrudgingly voting for another ham faced Blair tribute act so that I can get my free bus pass a year earlier or whatever the f**k. Its just not good enough. If you want things to change, you can’t passively accept whatever old shite they serve you up

As you did with Corbyn. No thinking done .

No because they lean on the USA to sort everything out.  The alternative is just give into the thugs.  Do you think you can talk and reason with Iran and Houthi scum ?

not sure tbh but I dont think bombing the sh*t out of people / things helps further down the line

A little concerned that Sunak and Biden could both probably benefit from a good war in an election year where they’re struggling in the polls.

Would you have just talked with the Nazis ?   had tea with Slobodan Milošević ?

they had talks with the IRA .... think that was the Labour Party initially . Needs to start somewhere , although invading other countries is slightly different

Here comes the cavalry!

I dont know what your politics are. But incoherent rage tends to indicate something towards the right.

Why don’t you wipe the spit off your screen and chill out for once instead.

its going to be less safe while there's escalation though , presuming that they actually manage to stop the drones , which are pretty easy to get hold of . I mean what is the actually mission plan ?

You suggested that people shouldn't go along with the crowd so why did you - your types have caused another five years of Tories

Shouldn't this decision go through parliament?

In theory no but Cameron set a precedent where military action goes through Parliament.
