So...this red sea thing could push prices up, so inflation up, interest rates up...yay!

LNG stockpiles v high in Europe tho because of mild winter so far. Will be some effects on import export goods from/to the East but probably low impact on aggregate supply, all things being equal. Expect the rate of inflation to continue to fall medium term.

Do you use anything with lots of batteries?

Vote Green FFS

If you want to stop the Tories ruining the country then the only place to maybe vote Greens would be Brighton otherwise you end up splitting the left vote and allow the Tories back in.

Vote for the party best placed to get rid of the Tories at the next general election.

I guess vote tactically. When I said I wouldn't vote Lib Dems yesterday, I would if I was in a Tory-Lib dem marginal. If in super safe labour/tory/libdem I guess it doesn't matter....so I could vote Green, but I will vote Labour because I ❤️ Starmer.

(plus, I would imagine a lot of Green party policies would be watered down dramatically if they were ever near power, same as Reform, same as Lib Dem i.e. tuition fees, and like Greens in Germany to some extent)

So as usual you ask questions and if they are not answered keep wanting answers but when questions are asked of you you go immediately to the insults.

I should expect nothing different from you as there has been nothing different from you on this site since I first joined under another user name (changed due to lost email) in 2013.

Enjoy thinking you not flying makes everything fine and others who do are at fault whilst living the rest of your life in denial that you are very much right wing in most aspects.

I am lucky that I can vote Labour in my area but yeah vote tactically to get the Tories out otherwise (if you want them out that is).

Voting Green is a risk in any other area as it risks the Tories being allowed back in and the country still being ruined as they are doing now.

I am a war hawk professional journalist bought and paid for by the liberal establishment. Sources? Nah, I’ll just do a bit of conspiracy theory and say reportedly and everyone will believe me.

And then when some leftist twitter pleb provides actual sources,I’ll tell you that they are conspiracy theorists and antisemites and you will all believe me again.

eh? you're just doing the same if something doesn't fit your world view. The article is from an academic who specialises in that area. No where does it condone Israeli action or condone/condemn anything, it is from her knowledge of Houthis..

I mean, Hamas attacked Israel in a well planned operation. They took hostages and carried out all sorts of atrocities. That wasn't just out of desperation, they wanted a response..

Which bit is the conspiracy? that in Yemen there is a proxy war going on between Saudi and Iran? That Iran also funds Hamas or Iran can coordinate the groups it funds?

’The right wing bloc needs to form a govt with SD (the swedish far right party founded by ex SS members)’

’the most important thing is that Sweden gets a right wing govt and so one needs to be pragmatic’

Always worth doing a bit of digging when you read some sensational claim justified by a mere ’reportedly’.

Its not hard and you’ll usually find that the writer is funded by some shady right wing organisation or other.

Neil over the last couple days calling someone a free loader for getting a cup of coffee and then saying we all need to stop flying due to climate change while also saying he wasn’t to spend the summer on his brother’s private yacht 😆😆 honestly priceless

Found any pics of the academic at a party with Epstein yet?

I don't care about the publication, she's appeared all sorts of places for her expertise on Yemen

That Iran and the Houthis were in on October 7th because the Houthis had militarised islands in the gulf (a googling of that quickly shows that they’ve been doing this for years).

Maybe the Houthis and Iran were in on it. But there is so far, zero evidence of that, so its pure conjecture and conspiracy theorist. This hawkish, right wing neolib academic is contributing one gentle nudge (amongst many to come from the MSM, thinktanks etc) to the reader to edge them into a mindset where regional escalation is an appropriate course of action. Thats how it works - trust me bro the houthis militarised some islands for the last few years, therefore they knew about october the 7th, so lets bomb their kids too!

Sounds a bit conspiracyish

Its a simple deduction. A sensational, provocative claim without any citation made by an academic writing for a dark money right wing think tank = ulterior motive. The only real conjecture on my part is the motive. But its usually ultimately in order to bomb more sh*t.

There is this thing called for axis of resistance right? And they do want the destruction of Israel? Or is that all made up by the Jews so they can kill Arabs?
