Neil over the last couple days calling someone a free loader for getting a cup of coffee and then saying we all need to stop flying due to climate change while also saying he wasn’t to spend the summer on his brother’s private yacht 😆😆 honestly priceless

and the only one on the In Memorial Thread in GF not to be nice about a recently deceased person - seems some people simply thrive on being nasty and divisive.

she was on channel 4 last night.

There is this thing called for axis of resistance right? And they do want the destruction of Israel? Or is that all made up by the Jews so they can kill Arabs?

They are allies yes. That October the 7th was coordinated by Hamas, Iran and the Houthis together is a dangerous leap and based on nothing, so conspiratorial.

It could become the WMD factor.

That Iran and the Houthis were in on October 7th because the Houthis had militarised islands in the gulf (a googling of that quickly shows that they’ve been doing this for years).

Maybe the Houthis and Iran were in on it. But there is so far, zero evidence of that, so its pure conjecture and conspiracy theorist. This hawkish, right wing neolib academic is contributing one gentle nudge (amongst many to come from the MSM, thinktanks etc) to the reader to edge them into a mindset where regional escalation is an appropriate course of action. Thats how it works - trust me bro the houthis militarised some islands for the last few years, therefore they knew about october the 7th, so lets bomb their kids too!

Hamas have been planning that attack for a number of years too? Iran is playing the long game.

Hamas were likely infiltrated by former ISIS fighters from Syria and there is evidence to show this might be the case.

The question could therefore be, as this looks like a long planned action where else are former ISIS fighters and what plans have they got ready to go at short notice when there is something that, for them, gives justification............... such as bombs being dropped on Yemen.

Bombs on the Middle East and Arab countries hardly has a good track record so I cannot see it going well this time either with, as usual, innocents being those worst effected on all sides.

I don't think either side wants all out war to be honest, despite what some might think. But we are heading that way.

In the end a solution needs to be found for Gaza, ceasefire, release of hostages etc etc forever. Maybe something will come out of this Hague court case.

During Covid I drank more than normal, only I paid for my own rather than using tax payers money to buy it.

A good day to leak stuff like this out into the public domain.

The government has defended spending nearly £27,000 replenishing its wine cellar during the Covid pandemic.

The figure for 2020-22 was revealed in a Foreign Office report.

Foreign Office Minister Andrew Mitchell said all events organised by Government Hospitality during this period were "in strict accordance with Covid-19 restrictions".

yeah I think Ozanne posted this yesterday. Does make May more likely I guess, but still think autumn the most likely at moment, but who knows. Think they'd be mental to have election in 5 months time, unless they're going to cut all taxes for the lols in the budget.

Last couple of days since you have graced us again with your presence all I have seen from you is veiled abused and snide little digs.  Your usual MO while pretending you are better than everyone else.

I'm sure you happily lauded hitler when he died for being supportive of Corbyns agenda.

Not every who dies is worthy of respect. The piss was taken for her name dropping when alive and it was a stupid bet with the clash. These things remain true after her death.and she wasn't great on the radio

If they end up waiting till Nov it could be even worse!

I wonder who The Guardian supports, they hates Corbyn, seem to have this stories against Starmer’s Labour. What is their goal? Are they Lib Dem?

Not having a go at them, they are my news paper of choice but they seem pretty odd.
