Certainly nice if you can do it. Wonder if they invest as well, bet that is never shown

Not sure it adds up though for Barry to pay off his mortgage more efficiently was to take out another mortgage and pay tax on the earnings.

not pensioners but have you never seen homes under the hammer? if maximising profit from investment is the thing then BTL is a much better investment than stock market.

Presumably you have a pension and not a BTL portfolio - why might that be?

No. I don't give other people my money to lose for me I'm perfectly capable of losing it myself.

It’s worth remembering that Neil is wrong about almost everything he thinks and says.

One thing I got terribly wrong was creating a website that arseholes can't keep away from.

And that's an example of me saying something right. Go on prove me wrong.

If you have a 25 year mortgage of 270k at 4% interest and overpaid by £100 p/m you would save £18,800 in interest over the term.

If you invested £100 p/m in a stocks and shares ISA which returned 9% on average you’d end up with 100k after 25 years.

You’ll ignore this I’m sure

A discussion was being had and you got involved as per and were wrong as per. Instead of admitting that or better yet just keeping your beak out , you have a tantrum as usual.

Also you sold the website you don’t need to be here if you don’t to

You're ignoring the bits where £3k invested 20 years ago is worth about £500 now.thats a real life example with the proof on my desk.

If everything I do and say is wrong how come I built something of value.

Ouch, certainly shows investments can go down as well as up. All depends on where it is invested of course.

Just ignore him mate, it’ll just end with insults being flung and general aggressiveness.

As I said earlier it’s probably best for any important financial advise to go an IFA rather than anyone on here as you just don’t know people’s credentials (or lack there of).

Oh indeed no one should take advice from here.

However, I have wonderful opportunity for your money to grow if everyone wants to send me some money

A quick google about the constituency and Kerry McCarthy doesn't show any hint of her standing down to me.

Something I did get wrong and can admit. It's the new seat of Bristol North East that he's the candidate for so he's not on a hiding to nothing from standing in Kingswood.

I recommend that people learn how to lose their own money than give it to legal thieves.

I also don’t think it’s worth people throwing insults over either.

Sounds legit, I’ve probably had an email or 2 about it…

It might not have passed the last Commons hurdle depending on the Lords but the HoC has in a way voted to ignore international law. Good times.

Hahaha wait you did that? Christ no wonder you’re bitter.

Obviously you’re never guaranteed returns in the stock market but a good index fund is hugely likely to make good returns over 2 decades.

What on earth were you investing in lol

How much did you sell it for?

I'm contractually not allowed to say.

A decent amount because I'd built something of value.

Did it all without having to sell my soul too.

It's a small stock market tracker where fees ate into it. For some people gambling with other people's money is a guaranteed win.
