that entire Queens set just blows it out the park, can't wait to see them grace that stage once more. Liam is going to have a hard time following them but if he plays the best of Oasis for the entire hour he stands some sort of chance, just needs to leave his newest album off the setlist.

I don’t actually mind his newest album, Shockwave, Halo, the River and Once are all alright

When he played Glastonbury in ‘19 the difference in reception to him playing Oasis tunes to him playing solo stuff was hilarious. People losing their minds and belting out every word to an Oasis song and then promptly whipping their phones out and having a chat during the rest.

Seems he usually sticks to a 60/40 split in favour of Oasis tunes though so there’ll be enough there to keep the crowd happy, and I’m sure there are a fair few fans of his solo stuff even if it isn’t up to the same standard.

There'll be plenty camped out in front of his stage not arsed about Queens, which is fair enough I guess if they want a good spot. So I don't reckon following it up will be much of a concern.

they will be at the other main stage - not thought about this but one huge benefit of two main stages is its way easier to get a good spot (not that its very hard at Reading but still)

It's a shame they're not the kind of DJ's that shout "get ready" "here we go" etc and throw their hands up for minutes on end. That'd have been a larf here.

kinda prefer djs like this honestly, i love how justice/chems etc just get it done

after their performance at Kendal Calling in 2019' i'm not sure i want to give them another chance, chelsea dagger seems like the sort of indie anthem that would go off but when the band have no energy on stage anymore it's hard for the crowd to show any excitement either

Damn, if that’s the case maybe I’ll cancel the petition

Hate to ruin the dream but they were piss, different strokes for different folks tho, you'd maybe love it! but for me they're one of the most boring acts i've seen, they did have to follow Don Broco though who had the crowd bouncing
