Beat-Herder 2021

Been on my radar for a few years now so bought tickets during last weeks ticket buying frenzy.

Have many people on here been before? Whats it like? Any info will be much appreciated as there doesn't seem to be a great deal of information on it around.

been to the last 4 or 5 and it is a good weekend.  Younger crowd and up for it.  Security have improved, they sacked the last lot who were a bit power crazy.  Can be considered a bit dance heavy but is really quite varied.  Main stage has a good mix, lots of smaller stages with a bit of everything.  Lots of ket kids, at my age if you stand still it is assumed you are a dealer but itt is a very good natured festival with a sense of humour.  We are quite happy to drive from the south west.  Read the reviews that Sean did for the last ones to get a flavour.

The Beat Herder and District Working Men's Social Club is a proper laugh.

Younger crowd similar to Reading and Leeds? We're in our late 20s but still have as much - if not more - energy than we did back then. 

The lineups seemed to be a lot more varied prior to 2018, good mix of all genres, but the last two seem to be quite dance orientated (lot of house and DnB) compared to previous editions. They have put on their socials that they'll be back with a new revised lineup in 2021 which suits me as 2020 was slightly disappointing.

Anybody have any info on whats happening with this this year? Their socials are unusually quiet since the cancellation of last years festival. Lineup usually drops around Feb / March but there's been no mention of this at all?

Scheduled 14th - 17th with some contractors who usually do it.

Yeah this is all i can seem to find on the festival. You aware of any announcements coming soon? First time going for a few of us so trying to convince people to commit is pretty hard going when theres bugger all info flying around!

For anyone interested, looks like it’s on! Had tickets for this twice before, once cancelled for covid and the other time for a friends stag do. Here’s hoping third time lucky 😎
