wro_lap
I'm in the camp of definitely buying a ticket nearer the time. I understand some people don't like it but it's my favourite lineup in years (lots of my favourite artists in big slots) so it's a must-go for me

We do indeed, three of the group take their campervans now so the rest of us stick our tents in that field with them but we do the full weekend. Usually go down the arena from 1pm for the day even if acts aren’t to put taste, we’ll watch and drink to pass the time

Chad888
If you could go for 1 x 2023 day, how would you rearrange the announced acts to convince you? For me, a main stage run down (top 4 on each stage) then I'd buy a date ticket for sure. 15-1600: Tion Wayne 16-1700: Don Broco 17-1800: Trippie Redd 18-1900: Nothing But Thieves 19-2000: Slowthai 20-2100: Loyle Carner 21-2200: Foals 22-2300: The Killers

Surprisingly 2019 was the closest call, only four of us went with a few more opting for a Foos day ticket. That year’s lineup would be a dream now! Sunday is decent and you could prob realistically cherry pick a really good day from across the weekend, I won’t be spending 300 dollars on a general admission ticket

BenG92
Tool, Deftones and Sublime are all at Sonic Temple this year. It's like someone tailor made a festival for me. If RATM were on that bill I'd probably have to take a bloody loan out to go.

Chad888
Lewis Capaldi is a bigger act than Sam Fender, the fact Lewis is MSW yet Sam MSE is evidence of the festivals downfall. Fender should be on the MSW at best at this stage of his career. Lewis Capaldi is a solo male pop star that sings love songs. He should be nowhere near Reading festival. Reading Festival is meant to be the biggest alternative music fest, it's about fucking the system.
