Probably needs to look into Nass or something really, would have a way better time there no doubt!

Reading and Leeds now cater for his demographic now although he did say last year's line up was much better.

Not sure he would go to reading though as no late night stuff. Reading Is really 3 days of concerts with camping offered as accommodation

Not really a festival

Given that the biggest non-headline crowds of the weekend were:

Bru-C,

Pinkpantheress,

AJ Tracey,

Digga D

We will see more of those acts next year at the cost of the FR act and the alternative rock/rap/indie that we had this year.

All Time Low, Enter Shikari, Denzel Curry, Both Waves, Lathums, Fontaines crowds were tiny. Didn't even close off the front sections for them due to capacity.

1975 tiny crowd too which I can see why, everyone left that day.

I thought 1975 had a very large crowd?

Ended up going this year cos couldn't sell ticket, most bands were amazing, bmth stole the show, pendulum secret set was beautiful, arctic monkeys were a bit dead but still cool seeing them, left early Sunday and glad I did seeing all the shit that went down, what is with this next generation? Absolute scum, I know I was a bit of a dickhead when I was younger and went nuts at reading but this is next level, people throwing glass, attacking eachother, saw someone burn a gay pride flag, underage girls half naked with shit like "cum slut" written across them, people getting stabbed and most of them have terrible taste in music, although I was surprised at the amount of people at bands such as deadletter and bilk which was great, all in all fun weekend, would have been way better with rage but what can ya do, PR was a joke this year, prices were horrendous and security were trash, gonna take a massive lineup for me to come again and if I do I sure as fuck won't be camping, if you have kids who go to this festival be careful

Will echo the thoughts of nowt that Arctics were a massive disappointment blown away by BMTH. After everyone that was so hyped for their set they really could of done with not going through the motions/slowing every song down to a horrid tempo. That lull in the middle of their set was the dullest part of the weekend. Never seen so many leave from such an anticipated headliner, especially disappointing after how good they were at trnsmt 2018. Don’t have much faith in them bringing those levels of any energy back going forward on this next album cycle with the song titles seeming very Tranquilty like.

Didn’t go Reading this year. Watching a few bits on the iPlayer.
I love Charli, don’t think she was miming at all, but she relies on that backing track and auto tune a bit too much.
Pale Waves seemed dwarfed on the main stage. Did they use a vocal backing track too?

Leeds was great, the vibe was the calmest I’ve witnessed until Sunday night which was by far the worst- i think hammered youths are giddy off the Woodstock documentary. About half the tents around mine in blue were demolished including a nice eight man a few girls were staying in next to us.

I didn’t find Leeds bad at all until Sunday night after Arctics. I camped in Green and for the most part there were groups of mature mid 20s around me but there were the odd group of shitty teenagers that went too far with throwing aerosols into fires 30cm away from tents. Seen videos from Purple which looks horrendous. I think I got lucky in Green.

Honestly, I didn’t encounter a single dick head at all this year.

Last year was horrible and was the only time I’ve ever felt unsafe. This year couldn’t have been more different. The whole vibe around the festival was so much more positive.

My friends and I are all mid to late 20s and we were camped next to a group of about 16 lads (and a girl) who were all 18 and they were the loveliest, funniest and most positive bunch you could wish to meet. They could be a bit boisterous at times but it was never hostile or intimidating, they were just a bunch of young lads having a good time and being silly, exactly what I was like at their age. There was nothing I considered to be twattish behaviour.

Everyone else camped around us was really young too and we’re also lovely. We had some massive games of beer pong under our gazebo with loads of our neighbours. It was a brilliant vibe in Green all weekend.

I said it the other day but this is the first time in a few years that Leeds felt like the Leeds I know and love so much. It was a classic year.

Really? Half the time the mic was nowhere near her mouth.

The kids camped near me were sound luckily but everyone else seemed nuts, might have to come Leeds if I go again

Theres a huge amount of 16-20 year olds who like the indie bands, just may have not been that many this year as a lot of the main ones (liam g + then your tdcc, wombats, blossoms, catfishs etc) all played last year. These people will have headed to truck / y not / tramlines etc instead i imagine but no doubt will be back next year if they book some more of these acts now they've had their 1 year break 😂

Current album tour possibly done most people reckon on the glasto forums

Yeah Paramore is going to be in the dance tent against MCR ???

People were saying that they'd be on different days to sell weekend tickets.

Deffo seemed to be more kids into the guitar bands/ stuff like Sueco etc.. than previous years

trend seems to be going that way a little I’d say.

As covered above there’s deffo a load of kids who just come in for the big poppier acts.  May be a bit of a jump but I wonder how many of them are the main participants in the trouble too?

Purple was scary I can’t lie, getting back to my tent after courting to see all our chairs gone was a bit annoying

wont be camping there again lol
