Not for me. I saw McCartney at the O2 last week, and whilst Iβve seen gigs of his Iβve enjoyed more (mainly because heβs best experienced in a large outdoor setting IMO), I still really enjoyed it and it didnβt take anything away from Glasto and all the rest.
If I really like an artist, Β chances are Iβll see them multiple times, and obviously some are going to be better, or more memorable, than others. Iβd never think βI hope they stop touring now as that will never be betteredβ
We now seem to be in a multi party PR like parliamentary system but still with a FPTP voting system...and the real big winners since the election are Reform. Greens not making any gains, they need a single leader, and someone who catches the mood...which is maybe impossible because the mood is not progressive left liberal green, the mood is anti establishment anti migration anti woke anti green conspiracy riddled social media fueled bile..and Farage is the only human like leader despite Ed Davey's desperate attempts to be that fun guy...but at same time Farage is a Trump/Orban fan c**t and this could be his undoing...or project him to PM depending how things play out.
Not much to be cheerful about really, when we really need to coalesce around fighting climate change...just have to hope science saves us.
