Alcohol in festival site

Okay so real talk, we know we can’t take alcohol into the festival but how strict is it? 
 

Will the age old tricks work, can we sneak it in on us (bras, shoes) or will we be searched? Has anyone got any wisdom at all? 
 

5 very broke students here!!

You can take alcohol into the site and drink it around your tents or in certain areas of the festival, you just can’t take it into the ‘main’ part where there are security people to check you at gates. However some are more thorough than others, if they find any they take it off you.Sundays they are usually past caring too much as they are nearly done for the weekend
