I was at this around the same time. Think you can even hear me laughing in delight when he announces it.

Echo this. Gothenburg #2 last year strangely ranks bottom of my Springsteen gig list - done five - but that's like saying your bar of gold isn't as good as your other bars of gold because it is a bit dusty.

When I went to see Darius Rucker there, it was uncomfortably overly full. Someone did actually tweet Darius just before the show started and was called out by him from the stage for moaning about a sold out gig, which wasn’t great from Darius.

Poor form from the artist, that. Genuine concerns to be had.

 

They should have downstairs capped at 1,500, then 2,000 for the whole joint. From an artist's perspective, it'll still be packed up to the overhang, and you can't see beyond that anyway.

Forgot to mention this at the time but Anna Erhard was great in Coventry library a couple of weeks ago.
