Paradise By the Dashboard Light best song of all time. Bat Out of Hell was pretty much the only CD we ever had on in the car until I was maybe 7 or so, and I remember being obsessed with that song. Still goes hard.

Can't say I was a massive fanboy or even knew his real name, but I grew up on Bat out of Hell through my mum, rinsing it on my first mp3 player, and I Would Do Anything For Love was playing in the background in so many home videos. RIP to an iconic performer

Sad news. Saw him several times live and his shows were always top notch. Jim Steinman died recently as well. Wagnerian rock at a time punk and disco were in vogue yet it sold in its millions. Like Alice Cooper, he was a showman.
