kevbizarre
I wonder if we had this weeks’ weather (amazing Wed to Friday) and then awful weekend would we be happy? I think I would be ok with that
Greenelk
For the gentlemen out there, I can fully recommend this. My wife got it for me for the marathon last year. Subtle branding, but gives them a real shine

briddj
Right, a new day means a new 00Z. How will we do? THIS WEEKEND The Pilton force-field is in full effect as the rain goes east, with hardly anything hitting the site. WEDNESDAY - GATES OPEN There is a very small amount of rain overnight, and dry for gates open but poor temps of 12. So, does this mean the low is winning? Yep, unfortunately it's pushing down and high pressure is not in control in this run. So, what will it be like the first two days? WEDNESDAY Dry, max temps of just 17. The low pressure is still dangerously close. THURSDAY Another dry day with max of 18, but the low pressure is still building..... So, what will the festival itself be like? FRIDAY Colder today, with highs of just 15, but dry. The low is kept at bay. SATURDAY Small amount of rain around, high of just 15. The low is pretty static. SUNDAY Dry day, highs of 17 so still not great. High is starting to build. SUMMARY One of the driest runs we've had, though there is the small amount of rain on the Saturday. However, it's also one of the coldest runs we've had. The high doesn't build in until Monday and by Wednesday temps are 27. For me, far too cold. Get those temps up. chazwwe
17/18 is just about okay... Anything lower and it gets a bit too chilly in the evenings. Knock the temps up to 18 - 22 for each day (cooler wednesday) and we're almost in perfect weather...
gazzared
@briddjthanks for the great updates, deffo decided not to bother taking my fridge, beers will be cold enough just being kept under my van 👍
Suprefan
Dancing will keep your temps up, dont know why this is so bad. Ill take it. Although can we get rid of the stupid temps in London this Friday?
gherkin8r
Doesn't Gav reckon you always add a couple of degrees? I reckon 18 and above is fine.
Avalon_Fields
I like it warm to hot, however I’d easily accept this outlook with the minimal rain expected. Bring it on!

For the weather bods - is there a relationship between the sudden drop in temperatures this weekend and the subsequent divergence of the lines, beyond the fact that they're a further away in time? Is there something about the breakdown that's inherently chaotic? And once we're past that change in the weather, do we expect things to become more predictable? I.e. when next week starts, do we expect to have a fair degree of certainty of the festival weather conditions?

Simpo
Good year for late nights it looks like. No hot hot morning sun to force you awake and out of your tent, for us non-fresh/black types, so hopefully able to get recharged and make the most of our Glastonburys. But it could all change! jparx
Depends how sunny it is with those temperatures. 15 could easily feel like 20 if it’s sunny, but the nights would be chilly. Still think it’s unlikely we’d have so many consecutive days of well below average temperatures though, it’ll warm up.
