CaledonianGonzo
That's definitely up there. Dolly Parton to Yoko Ono is also one one of the great vibe shifts.
CaledonianGonzo
Probably a thread in that if anyone can be arsed.
efcfanwirral
Had a listen to Cat Stevens, recognise some but not a big fan. It's nice to do the Sunday a bit more chilled especially with the headliner that night being so sought after and likely busy so not complaining at this one

BlueJeansAndWhiteTshirts
I don't see Cat Stevens as a legend-slot legend. A legend for sure and a legend who needs a big slot but not the legend-slot, slot.

Two different fields to be fair - as I assume was the Tony Bennet / Sonic YouTube double bill.

No, both on the Pyramid. Followed by Bob Dylan, Nick Cave and Pulp headlining.

But then I'd always wanted to see them. Great pop song writing and have always liked Clem Burke's drumming. Would deffo be up for seeing them again. CaledonianGonzo
I used to have a face - but sitting here now in the pub with it all melted off after I told my brother it was probably Cat Stevens.
Superscally
Nick Cave into M*mf*rd was pretty mind-blowing. Not that I stayed for the latter.

Drinky
I don’t think it’s realistic to expect Robbie as any kind of surprise. He’s getting top dollar for these bookings this summer and even with the regular Glastonbury profile-boosting calculus, he’s not in the frame. Next summer will be a different story. I think this year has Cat written all over it
gazzared
Not gonna lie I didn't know who cat Stevens was until all this talk, listened to him today and I already know about 6 songs without realising. Maybe I need to remove "music" from my bio 🤣 but I would definitely enjoy a more chilled out Sunday legend slot compared to the recent bucket list crowd mayhem to see Kylie and Diana Ross . The same will have to apply on the Sunday night too.

Gnomicide
I've raised the Cat Stevens question with the younger generation, not a fucking clue. Still holding out for Smokey Robinson 'ere.

It certainly blew the minds of the Sunday picnic brigade waiting for Mumford. I saw parents covering their little darling's ears in disgust. Mummy, what does fuck mean?
