Happy to give some useful info. Paulshane gives a good description above your post where they're located.

Staying at WV this year and I'm wondering if I should bring a backup in case they turn it off again this year. Yes they did due to the demand for water onsite. I think WV even tweeted about it. Only for a few hours.

dulcificum
Shower situation at Greenpeace is a joke these days. Removing the communal showers was an idiotic idea and then failing to understand or implement the raffle ticket system this year was the final nail in the coffin.

rubenz
Medium sized pump action plant sprayer in the bag this year. Just pump it up and you can give yourself a refreshing shower wherever you like. Minimises water wastage and no puddles caused, been a game changer for me!

Private cubical that you had to queue for?

I was skeptical at first but by Friday the whole group was queuing up for a shower. The herras fencing also really helpfully acts as a hoop for the bag to hang it over. Just encourages people to take an absolute age. It's a festival ffs. Can we just have an option for non-prudes who'd prefer not to waste hours queueing for people living in the stone age. I don't and never would queue up for showers, but I promise you that those not wishing to see my bloated carcass it's not due to them living in the stone age, it would be more about avoiding ptsd 😉
paulshane
I was lucky enough to be in East Camper again this year, and I took a 12v shower this time. Powered by my solar stuff. filled a few 10litre containers from the standpipes, popped them in the back of my estate car to heat up in the sun, then used the shower in one of those small but tall 'toilet tent' things, which I pitched right up against my caravan (mostly to stop it blowing away) when I timed it right with the water (it was piping hot on the friday morning) it was brilliant, when it was 'room temp' not so much, but still a shower 🙂 and pricing everything up, still about 1/4 of the price of Lost Horizons, and I can use it again and again. Completely unsuitable if you camp in a tent I know, but this was a first for me - having a shower every day at the festival 🙂

Cost nothing, was refreshing and got me completely clean, and was done in less than 2 minutes. f**k queueing for showers.

I attached a watering can rose to get a steady flow. 😊
Ayrshire Chris
Over the years I’ve seen many showering devices, the ones you can buy, buckets, things that look like something out of a hospital, even saw someone spraying others with one of those garden pesticide sprays, filled with water I hope. One thing I don’t like however is folk doing a full wash at the drinking water taps with the taps full on as they shampoo etc. Edited August 25 by Ayrshire Chris
