Hi all. I'm staying at a caravan at Thorness Bay and wondering if anyone knows how easy taxis are to get to and from the festival?

 

Also heard murmurs about a festival bus which does the rounds to and from the fest but we may have to walk a bit for ? 

 

Any info you guys have would be great

I've no idea of the local area but I think you might be out in the sticks a little for the buses. If you are able to get from Cowes you'd be able to pick up a festival bus from there.

 

Might be an idea to contact the caravan site and see what they would recommend? I'm sure you're not the first to do it.

The normal non fesival buses run until late - the festival shuttle especially on the way back has hige queue, we found it easier to do the 20 min walk to the main bus station and get a a bus from there. You can get a weekend ticket . Or book a taxi early, its virtaully impossible by the weekend

Thanks Jon! I wonder however if the late night buses run past this place?
