Can you buy worthy view car park ticket at the gate?

My mate is camping with us in WV but he has a hospitality ticket - no registration number etc (he works in the industry). 
 

I am coming by coach so I can’t buy him a WV car parking ticket with my registration. 
 

Can he just rock up on the day and buy at the gate?

I have never tried myself but have heard horror stories (well two…) where people have tried and been turned away to general parking, which does seem bizarre. I would find someone with a general ticket to buy you one and pass it on.  I have bought 2 x parking for sticklinch but the tent booking isn’t in my name so there doesn't seem to be a restriction on it. I can’t buy more than two though sorry.

If you'd be able to collect it from Glastonbury Premier Inn later on Tuesday night, or early on Wednesday morning, I'd be happy to buy you one. (I don't want to risk post etc, as once it's delivered here we're liable for it.)

Thanks for the offer, however I think that might be a bit risky as my mate isn't brilliantly well organised and I'd hate to impact your festival experience because you're waiting around for him!

If anyone reads this who is staying at WV and happens to live in Brighton or the surrounding areas, please let me know if you'd be willing to help. You'd need to buy the car parking ticket for me and then I can meet you to collect it. Or *possibly* maybe once purchased you can change the delivery address via SeeTickets?
