Car queuing Wednesday early

Queuing at Glasto is relative and very weather dependent.   There will be queues at that time, they are unavoidable likely at any time.  Queues on the road of 1-2hrs are normal and nothing to panic about.

The nightmarish and legendary 4-6 hour queues you are likely scared about were the result of mud, cars getting stuck and mostly by all CV all needing individual tows into the CV field.  So, no mud, likely smaller risk of this happening and you'd likely have avoided the worst of these queues by 6am if it did.  Those huge queues built up over the morning on that dreaded Wednesday.

The one thing I would say is that Glasto is good at learning from past issues.  It wouldn't surprise me if there is now a plan to deal with the mud situation or strategic cement was laid after that festival, etc.  In particular, it could be part of the reason why Sticklinch has now replaced CV West... So if there are issues with CV, it does not block cars coming in from both sides of fest.

In  conclusion, don't over think it.  What will happen, will happen.  Just ensure you have water, food and TP in the car in case of long queues.  Oh, and tune into Worthy FM when you get close to the fest!
