The streets aren’t gonna sub trnsmt. Blossoms is a fair shout cause they’re there almost every year

Wet Leg were announced the day of due to a drop off. Fontaines are everywhere, hardly a specialist booking same with self esteem. Nowhere near as built around them vs APE which had interpol, raconteurs etc

Wet Leg were at Lytham, so possibly came pulled up in the general orbit there.

Must admit I'm struggling to see the hype on them. They went over well, but the tunes bleed into one for me, unfortunately. Wish it wasn't the case.

Wet Leg were already meant to be there just on the King Tuts stage instead

? Self Esteem were always playing the Saturday. I could add Jimmy Eat World and Maximo Park to the "obviously bands for slightly older people" list as well.  Clearly DF loaded the Saturday with bands for an older crowd, topped with the Strokes.  I'm not claiming Julian hand picked any of these acts. I doubt he had much input on the APE day either.

Fair enough, still surprised it only just sold out - foals and strokes on the same day is very stacked

Bump* can safely put money on TRNSMT 23 being like L&R this year. The 1975 & Monkeys will be a cert I think with the other headliner being in the rap/grime scene

Not sure TRNSMT have the budget for that now, their recent lineups have been such a step down from early days. Its half the size of Reading/Leeds and doesn't have the purchasing power of Live Nation

Appreciate your info over the years sir, can you give us any indication on what they will be doing as I have seen rumors of a stadium tour but no Scottish stadiums...... which on really leaves Bellahouston or Glasgow Green

Kasabian and The 1975 are two of my bets. Dunno how Kendrick Lamar did at Summer Sessions, but if it did well, I could definitely see him appearing at this. Although I'm gonna go with Panic at the Disco as the third.

If K dot comes back in the summer I can see him doing his own thing like summer sessions. But yes, I agree with your other 2 guesses. Could Jamie T be another headline act or sub? Would love to see other bands appear like Shikari & Turnstile but that is wishful thinking.
